Comments: I came to the 301 in February of 53 from hq asapac in Tokyo.....stayed in korea until rotating back to ft devens in October 53. During my time at 301, I spent most of my time at the site on hill 1220 aka christmas hill. Folks I remember include Lou miano, frenchy lafreniere, Vincent fararusso, something Forster, Alex Bednarz, Ed slater, lt law, lt nazarro and captain Benny w Griffith........Koreans kin min wee and ra shi bum and Chinese dacs. Kenneth wu, David fu, tak sing kan and wang yun fei. .....most memorable moment: July 27 armistice day....the day we moved from the rat-infested bunker on 1220 to a new site on the south rim of the punch bowl.......now, sixty years later, I am retired schoolteacher....teaching English to a korean woman who is very familiar with Chunchon, yang gu and inje

Comments: I am look for a Puerto Rican man by the name of Aton Pagan. I am not even sure if thats how you spell it. My grandfather just turned 70, and he is a army veteran, and was stationed in Panama during the Korean war. In Panama, his best friends name was Aton Pagan. He told me that he would give anything if he could just talk to Aton one more time before he dies.

He won't do anything about it, so I figure I will. Aton Pagan was in the army, then left to play for the St Loius Cardinals, then went back into the army. Aton should be about 70 years old now. I would give more description, but my grandfather, Gerald Duffie, doesn't like to talk about it, and he hasn't seen Aton since 1955. 48 years ago. If anyone can help me find Aton, please email me at masterchief343@hotmail.com. I'm only twelve, so be gentle with the language :)
