We were set up just where the road turned west after leaving the Mountain range we went over. We were hit one night and over run temporary. I only counted about 20 men the best I can remember. I am trying to get map of that area in a scale that I can pinpoint the site. I know there was a creek just below the site. We received an air drop directly over the site earlier. I believe I mentioned this in a letter I wrote later. Seems like one of the names was something like Mathinson or something like that and a machine gunner that was killed when we were overrun. I can still see a couple of the faces and the position they were froze in. There was an old knocked out armored tank like vehicle near the site. I always wondered if they were found or documented.
