He will be turning 80 soon and I would like to get him a unit patch if possible, can anyone assist in this.
I am a Marine from the Vietnam era, and understand how important our units were and I
think that this would be an outstanding present.
If anyone knows him, his name is Lt. Donald Jorgensen. He was shot down and spent over 9 months in the hospital recovering from injuries

Comments: Greetings
I am trying to find servicemen who assisted Icelanders in a whale hunt in late September of 1954. Large pods of 100s of killer whales were destroying the fishing fleet's nets and threatening the local's livelihoods. The government of Iceland appealed to the military for help and nearly 80 soldiers from the Keflavik airbase assisted in the very effective cull.
If anyone was there, or has information on what units were involved, or knows anything about this interesting event, I would be very grateful to hear from you.

He was engaged to my cousin Sandy which is why his plane was named "Sandy Baby". He was from Ashtabula, Ohio and at some point during his Korean duty was stationed at Komaki Air Base.
No other details were ever given regarding his death and I have been unsuccessful in finding him listed in the National Archives of military deceased. I would appreciate finding anyone who has any information they could share. Our son is named in his honor and would like to know more about him.

Unit: 69TH PILOTLESS BOMBER SQUADRON
Service or Relationship: Air Force Veteran
Comments: I attended AF ROTC with Curtis Clinton Love (Sr), who graduated DMG from LSU in June 1951. I understand that he retired from the USAF as a Colonel in 1981 and passed away in 1983. I would like to get in contact with someone that knew him, his wife, or one of his children.
