Comments: Hi,
My Uncle, George Millar (nickname Dode) was captured in the Korean war, and ultimately buried alive. After being rescued, he spent his entire adult life in a mental institution. This was a result of having oxygen starved to the brain.
He was part of the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers.
If anyone knew him, or what happened out there can you please email me?
Thanks

Comments: My father John fought with 1st RNF in Korea as a Bren Gunner and Sniper, sadly he died 3rd February 2023. He recalled to me the battle of Imjian river April 1951. In return to the UK he joined The Worcestershire Police Force, after 31yrs service retired and lived in the Old Police House Spetchley near Worcester. He enjoyed a full life of shooting, Clay Pigeon foremost. Is there anyone still alive who knows him or heard any stories about him.

Comments: Does anyone know Fredrick Thomas Burgon he was recruited back to colours to serve in Korea with RNF.
It would be great to find out what his role was, I am aware it is very sensitive in the nature of what those guys did in Korea.
