if there are any veterans left from this regiment does anyone remember my dad Kenneth spooner

he joined up in Birmingham and was in the 21st lancers / RAC based at catterick before the RTR
he was a comet tank driver and was on his way to korea when the project ended

they were sent to Hong Kong for a number of years on boarder patrols before returning to the uk

I still have a lot of his things that he brought back with him and he always said they were the best times of his life

I think he may have made corporal but think he may have lost this ....but I never knew why

understood he was originally in the 17th/21st Lancer

Comments: Does anyone have any information abou the 7th Royal Tank Regiment in
Korea? My godfather, Trooper Steve Hawkins, served and was on a
Churchill tank. Sadly, he passed away last year. I'm writing a novel based
on things that happened in his life and desperately want to find out more
about what his experiences might have been. If anyone has anything that
might help, first hand or things that fathers/uncles/friends told them, I'd
be so grateful if you could contact me.
