Sonarman. After leaving the O'B I reuped at Treasure
Island for six more and went aboard the USS Epperson
(DDE-719) in Pearl Harbor. In 1957 I wnet to
instructor school and taught at USFASW school. I
then went aboart the USS Bausell (DD-845), made Chief
and then was commissioned aboard her. Went to OCS
and then to the USS Brinkley Bass (DD-887). Served
on the Staff of DesRon 11 in Long Beach and Pearl
Harbor. Went to the USNSC, Mare Island as Asst. Dir.
of the NTDS school. Went to the USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-
63) as EMO and the back to USNSC as Director of NTDS
School. Retired in 1972 as a LCDR.
