Comments: My dad served in the Navy 1951-1954 and received an honorable discharge.my sister found request form for his Honorable discharge papers after his death ,that he never sent off. So we sent for the papers. Lots of information on these papers. Daddy got medals and the papers told that he was on the USS LSMR- 404...We were happy to learn all this...Thank you All..

Comments: On 21,Nov.1951, Lt.B.C.Pruitt of VF-54, off of the
USS Essex CV-9, had his aircraft hit by enemy small
arms fire, his aircraft lost power, and he bailed out
about 1/2 mile from Yodo Island in Wonsan Harbor, and
was picked up by the USS LSMR-404. WELL DONE, USS
LSMR-404.

Comments: My father passed away in 1993 and never did he mention being in Korea. but on his gravestone it says Korea and Vietnam,He was in special operations in vietnam. and never talked about that much either, is it possable the military made a mistake when they did his grave stone or can i find out if he was in Korea. does anyone have any info that would be helpful to me.
