Comments: I've been fortunate to find info on my dad from WWII. I know he served '44-45 on the Sennet and was a "plankholder." Several of his mates have been kind enough to share what information they had, as well as personal recollections.

If anyone out there served with my father, I would love to hear from you.

Served in WWII on the USS Sennet. Also served during Korean War. Veteran's Admin says they lost his records. Trying to find what sub he was on and when, as well as any info from former mates.

Comments: I am trying to learn what submarine(s) my late father served on. His name was Bernard ("Bun") Tobin, He was in the Navy 1950-54, transferring from the Battleship Wisconsin in 1952 or 1953. At one point he was based in New London, CT. He was involved in navigation in some way. He died of natural causes in 1978, just after his 46th birthday. His wife, Joan, died several years later. Did he serve on the Bream?
