Comments: Looking for any relatives or friends of Sp-4 Russell A. W. Poindexter who died of injuries in vehicle accident July 1961 near Pop-san-Po, Korea. I was a passenger in that vehicle and Sp-4 Poindexter and myself were med-evaced to the 121st Hosp near Seoul, where he died. I have spent much time over the last 40 years to locate any relatives of his without success. If anybody has any contact info I'd greatly appreciate receiving it.

Comments: My dad, Oliver Kirk, Native American/Navajo, served in the KMAG-8039th AU/Korean 1953-1955. He was injured so he was placed in a hospital called, Six Army Hospital in Taeque, Korea, Later he was transported back to the U.S. thru St. Louis Washington, and to recover at Army Leterment Hospital in San Francisco. His Command Officer was,Robert McGillicuddy. At the time of service he was living in Warm Springs, Oregon. He is alive and well, living in Ganado, Arizona. He is trying to get assistant from the VA Hospital in phoenix, Arizona and they need evidence of his injuries apparently, he lost all his documents in a fire. If you knew my dad please contact me.

I am trying to put a couple of Presentation Cases together for his sons with his medals, patches etc. The patch he wore was a Blue Liberty Bell with a white eagle on it. Along the top of the patch was a red type banner with white type waves. The bottom of the Patch has a red border, curved, with KMAG. Comments: My Dad was home at Ft. Benning for my inception Feb 1950. He was in Korea in '47/'48 perhaps with the KMAG group and, apparently in heavy combat (for that time)and sustained wounds that would diminish his combat ability and came home to Ft. Benning to train. It was said he was court martialed for shooting one of his own men in the back, in Korea(for cowardice I assume). Not alot to go on, huh? His name was Thomas Whitby Garrett Jr. It is said he was an officer at the time. Anyone know anything? Thanks

Comments: i found a burial marker with the name DONALD LeROY HORNER FROM OREGON. BORN MAY 8, 1931 - DIED AUG 5, 1963. HE SERVED IN THE KOREAN WAR. I BOUGHT THIS HOME AND FOUND HIS MARKER IN MY BACK YARD.

Comments: George was my best friend in Korea. We were stationed in Teagu Korea together. I shipped out back to the states, and George took me to my plane, and that was the last I saw of him. Not many days go by that I don't think about him and the fun we had.
He had a son born while in Korea, and as far as I can figure out, his son would be 36 yrs old now. If any one knows of a George E. Butler, (he used to be from Ohio) please help me get in touch with him.
