Comments: I never knew my father while I was an adult. He served active duty from 1926-1953, retired in 1953 and died in 1969. I spent twenty years in the Air Force but only because I knew my family had already produced the best Marine it could. I would like to contact anyone who knew my father in WWII, Korea or anytime in his USMC career. We will never forget the sacrifices of those who came before us. Sempre Fi!

I am looking for information on the unit my father Douglas Quinn was assigned to during the Korea War. I don't know anything about it, only that he was in Korea as a US Marine. He passed away in 1987. My father was originally from Canada, but was living in Detroit Michigan at the time of his enlistment, this aided in his becoming a US citizen. I am currently in the Air Force and putting together a family tree for my children and I want them to know the contribution their grandfather made to this country. Also, if anybody has any information on my father-in-law, Mr Bernard Kester aka Jack Kester, this would also be appreciated. He has also since passed away, but he claimed to have served in a unit with Freddy Fender if that is any help to anyone.
Thank you very much for any help and thank you all for your service to our country

Comments: Would love to find a list of all that served in Bainbridge, Maryland in Hospital Corp Class 1 back in the 50's. My father served and would love to find some of his old friends. Any comments would be deeply appreciated.
