Comments: I was there at Lackland AFB still in my civilian Clothes of Aprial@ 27th untill May 8 or 10.
Most of the recruits were sick and past out laying on the ground, they Had a field Amb.Throught the night
picken up those that was out of it. However we had a few Pipe sticking up out of the ground, the water was find for about day and a half, there was a sudden change in the water, Chalkey and a awful taste.
I don'tremember much because i too was out of my mind
about half the time. I do remember them bringing in some juice macnines, and gave us two roll's of nickels
Told us to drink up all the nickels.We dumb raw recruits should have known something when the water was cut off; But their answer was some one put something in the water. A Dumb Raw recruit would never believe the USA Gov, would anything like that, My Records for Lackland, and Shepard Have been burnt Ha. Ha.Now they Don't want anything to do with me sayiong the burden of proff. Its Up to me Prove otherwise. I Need your Help Fellows If you are still alive. I thank you very much for your help. Does anyone remember him? He was a real character and we have pictures
of him cutting it up in the sandbag lookout bunkers. Wherever he was in
Korea I know it was very cold and windy, on a mountain, with snipers all
the time.
