Comments: Comments: I recently found Photos and letters of my Dad, Bruce Mante attached to the 49th Medical Helicopter Ambulance Detachment in Pusan Korea from October 1954 to November 1955. He managed the PX, and was a truck mechanic. He wrote great things about all who he served with.

I would like to share the photos with others who may have worked in Pusan with my dad.

Service or Relationship: Army Veteran

Comments: Is this perhaps a reference to the 377th Medical
Company, Air Ambulance, that was next to ASCOM? If so,
in 1969-70, the unit was based in Bupyeong, a district
in Inchon City. As of 2010, the unit site now seemed to
be occupied by a series of 20-story (approx) high rises.
