Comments: I am desperatley trying to compose a memory book for my father Charles L. Honaker for fathers day. If you have any information on his company or remember being with him or having any photos, please contact me at the e-mail listed. This is a very special project for me to present my father. I have heard many stories and see the years of long ago behind those eyes as he tells of his active duty time. He left from Beckley, West Virginia on Aug. 4, 1949 and was seperated at Ft. George G. Meade, Maryland. His records were destroyed by fire and I am so in hopes of giving my father and the men he served with the recognition they so deserve. To any and all who served with my father, I thank you and YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN by those who live the memories thru your stories. Hats off and a huge salute.

Comments: I amtrying to help my grandfather Charles Leonard Honaker of Princeton, WV, find his military record. Apparently the fire at St. Louis in 1973, destroyed his records. I am also trying to get the "purple heart" as an official reward, for he was a POW in Korea. If anyone has any info, please contact me via E-mail, or the telephone number provided.
