Comments: I am looking for any information on my Father. Earnest Lee Hardy was in the Army at Ft. Hood, TX I think from about 1950 to 1953. He talked about driving a tank but he was never shipped overseas. If anyone can tell me how to go about finding any of his records I would greatly appreciate it. My dad passed away in 2009. He mentioned a friend names Paul Hall that lived in Louisiana and that they had gone to Waco to help clean up after a horrific tornado while at Ft. Hood.

Comments: My dad was in the Korean War 1951-1954. Was on front lines Heartbreak Ridge. Landed at EnChong. He was a Corporal. He doesnt remeber much and never talked much about the war. Trying to see if anyone still alive he was with. He remembers a Lietenant Colson. A black man that he thinks was killed by him. Also a man last name of Jones killed next to him. He was in the 7th infantry division. One of his uniforms has a A5 on it but may have been before he left for Korea. I have his RA #. Mentioned King company. Remembers observation post duty. Please help with any information anyone may have. Thank you. Also in the tank division. SKull on front of tank.

Comments: looking for lt epps from alabama who was my platoon leader when we lost our tank from anti- tank mine in the khumwa area and when our driver was wounded by artilery fire. i was the gunner on the tank at the time. during this time the tank retriever crew had dispursed for cover, because of the enemy artillery fire, when lt epps ran from cover and single handedly, while getting knocked down by artillery, hooked our tank up and pulled us to safety. lt epps received the silver star for his bravery. i have not been able to find him at this time, but would appreciate any assistance anyone could give me to help locate him. thank you.
