Comments: Just found entry 49930 (message 27 -April 2, 2005 from Virginia Meek.)
I was on a liberty craft returning to the Kearsarge on May 31, 1948 and due to the rough sea, we were taken to another carrier to wait out the storm, if I remember correctly it was the Coral Sea.
I hope she is still able to visit this site and sees this message. I will be happy to speak with her.
I don't recall the exact time of day but it was well after dark.

Comments: I have slides my father took in Korea in 1954. I would like to share them but do not know where/how to post them. INcluded are photos of Kozluski "ski"; Lofflar; Kabes; Luepe; Miracle; Garrett; Gibson, Rusty, and Hamlet. Some are labelled 1st Mar Chapel and O.P. Texas DMZ if that helps define where these were taken. My dad's service records don't include his Korean service so I have been unable to narrow it down.

If anyone is interested or knows how I can share these, please let me know.
