Comments: What a memory search. I enlisted in the AF in 1951 and after basic training at LAFB, transferred to Brooks AFB before going to Lowry AFB for Intelligence Specialist Tng. Then went to the 6920th Security Group at Johnson AFB. Later assigned to Det 1, 15th RSM at Osan AFB. Returned to USAFSS Hq at Kelly AFB. After discharge from the AF, returned to Tenn and finished college. Returned to active duty in the US Army, serving 29 years and retiring as a Colonel. During my Army service I was a student at Maxwell AFB, Air Command and Staff College, and thought that I had returned home. My memory is dim on my USAFSS contacts. Worked for Captain Hop Harriger at Johnson AFB and thought he was absolutely superb. Also served with William R.L. Sims, who left service after four years as a TSGT and returned to PA. I will have to stretch my memory to bring back other names.

Comments: Read about you in the Denver Post. I was with Air Force Security Service during the Korean War, as a Russian linguist -- monitoring the Soviets.
Served a year in Tripoli, Libya and a year in Landsberg, Germany.
Really appreciate all the work you have done to let more people know about the forgotten 'police action.' My 35 year-old step-son-in-law had never heard of the Korean War. Hard to believe, but true.
