Comments: I have two snapshot photographs taken of two enlisted Airmen standing/posing in front of the 7th Aerial Port SQ. DET 14 Airman Quarters. On the back is written their names: A/2C (Stick) Marshall and A/2C (V.O.) Gregg.
The other photo is of an old airport passenger terminal that was shelled and appears vacated. Don't know when these photos were taken--possibly during the 1950/60s?me
Can anyone tell anything about these two Airman?
When were these photos taken.
If interested, I will email digital jpegs for help in IDing the Airmen and/or for donation to an organizational archive. To do that I will need an email address.
regards, Bus Fenton

Comments: I was the Mobility Officer for the 7APS from '69 to '71. We had detachments still operating in Korea at Kimpo (short time only - went to MAC), Osan, Kunsan, Kwang-ju, and Taegu. One of my responsibilities was to visit each Det monthly. Also worked with the 8th Army on mobility plans, exercises (Focus Lens and Focus Retina), and unit moves. Most of our activity at that time was related to SEA, but my job personally had me in Korea for 8 cumulative months of a 30 month tour. I was one of a handful remaining at the 7th when it was deactivated in 1971. Great memories and I am proud to have been part of a unit with such a great history and tradition. Had spent 2 years as the OIC of Combat Aerial Delivery with the 2APS prior to assignment to the 7APS. I left active service after Okinawa, joined the 75APS (AFRES) at Kelly AFB, and later became it's Commander. I was transferred to the 73APS at Carswell AFB in 1985 and commanded that unit until my retirement in late 1991. I will always have a special feeling for the Aerial Porters, and especially the Tactical / Mobile units where I spent my active duty time.
