Comments: arrived landsburg air force base dec 1950 as part of 2951 mobile weather sq to become 31 weather sq. capt weideranders, lt emerson, war officer malevza sgt younge, sgt jacques, and sgt keller along with three other inlisted men. sgt younge attelmpted first weather transmission after several atempts cpl keller sucedded. as the years went by we sent weather personal to five bases thuout germany and france which established 31st weather sq. i have pictures of first days if any one is enterersted. i am, 86 yrs old now.i have the same stein. .

Comments: I'm trying to find out if there is a group who is
collecting memorabilia from or for the 31st
Weather Squadron.

I have a beer coaster with the unit
emblem...red bird, helmet, shield, etc...printed
on it and would be glad to donate it. I got this
coaster at Ramstein AB, Germany, in the late
1960s.
