Comments: I am the nephew of Benoit Francoeur, member of the 8035. His brother, Albert Francoeur, was my father.
I am wondering if anyone from the 8035 here knew my uncle, Benoit. If so, I would like to establish communication, and simply speak to him. I am curious to learn more about my Uncle Benoit Francoeur. Please call or email me: dfrancoeur@gmail.com or 617 852 8868.
Thank you, David Francoeur

Comments: My father, John P. Rogers, was stationed at White Sands Proving Grounds in New Mexico.
He was assigned to the Signal Corps, 3rd Army. He was never deployed to Korea due to a back injury. I have been trying to locate any military records that may be out there somewhere. His official military record were lost in the FIRE of 1973. All I get from the National Archives is the run around and request to fill more forms. At the time of enlistment his home was Bayou La Batre, AL. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Comments: Art is a dear friend of mine and as a friend and a veterans' services director I have the resources to assist him in locating members of his old unit. Does anyone know of a unit manning roster for June -July time frame of the 8035th and/or a unit yearbook of the time.Trying to find the name of a young VHF soldier who was new to the unit and was transfered to TASK Force Smith at the opening of the Korean WAR. This young man was Art's replacement and was KIA'd early on.
