Comments: My Father is 83 years old and has Alheimerzs. He cannot communicate and all the information I have on him is his Report of Separation From the Armed Forces of the United States. He was inducted on March 9, 1951. I really wanted to know exactly where his location was in Korea. Any help or advice is appreciated.

Comments: Looking for any information related to John Robert Anderson who was a sergeant in the 3rd Army Band, in July 1949, and was stationed at Ft. McPherson, GA. Trying to trace military service so his remains can be put at rest in the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. He had been at the University of Wyoming before joining the Army. At some point, he was in Germany. That's all I know, and I need more to fill in the gaps in military records.

Comments: I was a member of the 3rd Inf Div Band from the time the division was reactivated at Fort Benning GA in 1949, until I rotated out of Korea in Jamuary 1952. Being a German speaker, I subsequently transferred to Army Intelligence where I spent the remaining years of my service. I would be happy to provide any information about the organization during my time as a member to any interested parties. The 3rd Inf Div was a great outfit, and I am still proud to have been part of it.
