Comments: I am the newphew of Thomas Harold Wallace, Jr., originally from Goshen, Ohio, who was an on-board flight mechanic on large bombers (B-25's, B-27's, B-29's). He flew in and out of Clark Field, El Paso, TX, and Wright Field before retiring from the Air Force in the 1950's, and turned down a commission to fly with President Eisenhower on the Independence upon his retirement. I am looking for information about his life in the Air Force, and for contacts with friends and commrades that flew with him. Tom passed away in 1998 from congestive heart failure, but spoke well of his time in the Air Force and the men he flew with. Any news or information about him would be greatly appreciated.

I once had a T-Shirt with her on it but it is now worn out and discarded. If anyone has a copy they could e-mail to me I would be most grateful. Incidently, I participated in the last deployment of the F-111D aircraft from Cannon to Lakenheath, England in June 1992.
