Comments: I have received word that then Col.Maurice F. Casey,Lt.Gen. Retired, passed away on Nov.11,2005.He was base CO of Ashiya Air Base ,Ashiya,Japan in th early 50's.Hewas living in Satelitte Beach,FL.
So far this year we,the 483rd MVS.have lost 2 more men. On June 11 we lost Maj. Jamie Gough in Charleston,SC who replaced Gen.Casey as Ashiya Base CO in '54 and i think it was on Aug.11 that Larry Spivey,Airman, passed away in Joliet,IL

Comments: Just received word that Col.Jamie Gough,Retired Maj.Gen.,passed away on June 11,2004. He was Ashiya AFB's Base CO in '54 replacing Col.Maurice Casey,Retired Lt.Gen. Gen.Casey is still living.I was with him in FL last month at the 483rd MVS Reunion. Memorial Services will be July 1,2004 at 10:00 n the Guerry Chapel,Bishop Gadsen Retirement Center,Charleston,SC with interment at a later date at USAF Academy,Colorado Springs,CO
