Keywords: This is my father. His AFSN # was 8795A. He was a flight commander who flew F-84's in the 27th Fighter-Escort Group. He was awarded the DFC for action on 23 April 1951. The action occured near Kumhwa, Korea. He was attempting to assist a downed pilot.
