Comments: Dear US Veterans,
My father was an air force St Sgt who served in WWI and Korea. He was a radio operator and bomber on B-29s. I am looking for anyone who may have served with him: Gerald Rodney Mixer from Bath, Maine. My father died in 1983, but left us, his family, with many unaswered questions. Anyone who has information regarding my father, and especially any one who may have served with him would be very helpful.
Thank you to all who have and are still serving our country.
-Kelley, Livermore, California

Comments: I was stationed at Yokota from Oct.1951 to Sept.1952. I was assigned to the 10th radar calibration unit as a A/C Mechanic. We had 4 B29s which flew over Korea, calibrating our ground radar sites every day.
Our barracks were the old building near the main gate, our hangar was next to the Weather
sqdn.
I well remember the 98th and many of the Aircraft logos.
