Comments: I'm posting on behalf of my grandfather, who is a Korean vet. (Canadian) He was
hoping to reunite with, or at least know the fate of his fellow members of the of
the Royal Canadian Engineers, 3 field squadron. In particular an R.A. Jones. His
name is Wilbert Gladwin Hupman, (although he was often called Nick or Gladdy.) If
you know a member of the 3 fld. squadron please send me a private message, we'd be
thrilled to hear from you!

Comments: I was lucky enough to have the then Capt Angus Duddy RCE as one
of my Instructing Officers at Mons Officer cadet School,
Aldershot UK in 1957/1958. His humour in particular made tiring
days of training bearable. I remember that at some point I was
told that his Royal Canadian Engineer Troop had been involved in
a mine explosion in Korea but I cannot be certain over this. As
he would always state at breaktimes - you boys go and get your
Hershey Bars !!
A great guy.

Comments: My uncle Sherman passed away 7/27/1988. He was Sapper
with the RCE's in the Korean War. A life long member of
the Dieppe Branch in Waverley, Nova Scotia.
I would be much obliged if anyone had any info on this
soldier. I would be deeply grateful. He's my Mom's
older brother, and Mom is all that is left now on that
side of the family of that generation.
Time holds for no one.
Thank you in advance....
Mike

Comments: Leonard passed away in 2007. I am looking for any information about his time in Korea as I am putting together a life album for his grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I have a newspaper clipping of him pictured with Sapper Jean Deslauriers of Hull Quebec. I recall that he once said he was on the hill next to "PorkChop Hill". Any kind of rememberances would be greatly appreciated. With thanks.

Comments: I`m a grandson of a Jack (John) Duff who was an engineer with the Royal Canadian Engineers during the Korean War. I`m currently teaching in South Korea and would love to have any information about if anyone knew about him or if anyone knew of where his unit was placed. The only thing I know is that he fought in Inchon. Any information would be great!

KOREA WITH THE PLANT TROOP REMEMBER ME, CPL BOB JAGO RE. AS
ALWAYS WE REMEMBER ONLY THE BEST OF TIMES, AND WE SHARED
SOME GOOD ONES. MEN I PARTICULARLY REMEMBER ARE CPL BOB
NOLAN (OR WAS IT DOLAN?), CPL. 'GIGABOO' PETRIE, AND SPR. 'KIT'

I SHOULD BE HAPPY TO HEAR FROM ANY ONE WHO WAS THERE, AND
SEND MY VERY BEST WISHES TO ALL THOSE WHO WERE. TODAY IS MY
