Comments: Im trying to find information on my father, he was in the USMC, his name was Charles William Brashears he was born on July 3rd, and I know that he was in the Korean War, I do believe he entered in 1950 and near the end of the Korean War he was a POW for 3 months and 28 days, I know this information from my mother. My son is doing a project on his military hero, which is his grandfather. I never asked my father about his time in the military due to the fact that he suffered enough from all the nightmares and flashbacks, if you could help me out with any information I would gladly appreciate it. I can no longer attempt to ask my father, for he passed away May 6, 2006, and all the papers that my sister had on my fathers time in the USMC burnt up in a house fire she had January 2009. Can you please help me.

Thank you respectfully,
Phyllis Brashears (Daughter)

Thank you to all those in and retired from the military for your service.

Comments: My wife's last husband (now deceased) was a 1st or 2nd Lt. USMC or USMCR. He had flash backs about being a POW, but would never talk about it. Their children would like to know more about him and if he was a POW. Stephen Thomas Moore Jr. Any information would be of help. We believe he flew a F4U Corsair, but don't know with what squadron.
