Comments: My father purchased a storage locker some place in
WA. state. We found a sailor uniform with the name
Kelly inside the collar. The uniform also had U.S.S.
Sperry on the sleeve. While looking through another
casual suit I found a name tag with Sheldon Kelly on
it. I'm not sure how to contact this person so that I
may send them their uniform. Any help would be
appreciated.

Comments: My dad, Raymond Lester Hill, passed away last November, and I am just trying to locate any body that might have been on the ship with him. From the letters that I found that he and my mother wrote to each other the dates are 1942-1947. In the letters he talks about having a buddy, but so far has not put a name with this buddy. In this set of letters that I have read he is stationed in California. His home town was Loudon, Tennessee. Thanks for any help you can give me. Darlene
