Comments: Served 18 months at the FECP and PC, 8234th Army unit, 1951 to 1953. Worked in composing room as well as other areas of the plant. Printed anything and everything required by the military in the Far East at the time, much of it Top Secret, including propaganda leaflets, combat maps, letterheads, meal tickets, forms, and histories.

Officer's primary noncommissioned assistant
assigned to duty at the Seoul War Correspondents
Billets where chief duties were to maintain the
Press Briefing Room including the briefing maps
where we daily plotted the prior 24-hours of
combat for use by the press briefing officer in
giving the daily briefing. Also assisted in the
preparation of the daily communique for release
to the press.
