Comments: Hello I am looking for information regarding a close friend who has no official paperwork from his time in the Korean War, though he has many deep memories. I am putting together a book that shows our members ( of Air Heritage Aircraft Restoration, Inc of Beaver Falls, PA, ) and he has no pictures from the past that showed him in Korea. We have such a lot of other pictures of the other members in their earlier days, and I would very much like to be able to represent Paul equally.
If anyone knows of a way I can more precisely pin down where he was, please contact me at your soonest opportunity so that I can get some info before we have to go to press on our photo and written history of our members.
Thanks!
Donna

Comments: I found a lighter while cleaning out a deceased relatives residence. This relative died a violent death due to his nefarious lifestyle. I am sure he came by the lighter Thru less than honorable means. I would like to find a possible owner and the candidates should be fairly low in number as I do have all three initials of the owner. If anyone can direct me to a list of names or some other database I would be greatful. It would bring me great pleasure to return this as I'm sure it would have sentimental value to someone.
I can be contacted by email or telephone. Cell phone is 417-299-5255.
Thank you,
Sean Taylor

Comments: I would Like to know more about excactly were I was I cant seem to find out for sure were I was stationed. I was a helicopter mechanic 5-80.120. I was released from duty on 10-21-52.
I would love to hear from anyone serving in this area.
One thing that sticks in my mind is the crash that two men died in at our base it was Cpt. Castlow and LT Rogers.
my History :
In 1950 I was Drafted for the Lorean War and was sent tp Camp Mcoy Wisconsin and put in the Chemical Corp. and after basic training we
train to treat Army clothes to withstand gas and hydrigen bombs, After sometime they disbaned and Iwas sent to the combat Engineering Headquarters CO332 Eng.C.Group still Camp McCoy, They offered
me a job as bker or truck mechanic and LT pilotwanted me to be his mechanic and I said I would be a masterSgt., Iwas in the Army but had to go to the first school for Helicopters at the Air Force Base In San Marcus Air Force Base and took A and E airplane befroe I took Helicopter and when I finished the school I went back to McCoyand then on to Korea. The helicopters were there and we had to put them together and test them, one thingwas nice the blades were miade just 50 miles from my home town in traverse City MI.the choppers were made in Teaxas, Bell was the name of the co. Later in the years there was a movie Mash and it sure wasn't lke the show but they had the same choppers. They had only made me a corpral when I was released from duty the ranks had been froze. I would love to hear from anyone that was in the same area as I was.
