Comments: I am interested in anyone who served with Tom Wesselmann, who learned
aerial photo interpretation at Fort Riley and who taught
aerial photo interpretation at Fort Bragg during the Korean War. I am a
graduate student writing on this soldier who became an artist. If you
served in this capacity but did not know Wesselmann, I am interested in
the culture of this type of unit during the Korean War.

Comments: Looking for ANY photos from 1953-1955 taken at Fort Jackson,SC. , Camp Gordon,(now Fort Stewart)GA. , Fort Benning,GA. My Dad was in C-Company, they were never sent to Korea b/c war ended. He is 78 years old and has no pictures and would love to see some. He says that at Fort Jackson he should be in about the middle row of the group picture and at Camp Gordon he is on the front row. He was under Sgt.Guthrie at Fort Jackson. His date of service was May 12,1953 to May 12,1955

Comments: I served mostly at Kimpo in the 4th. from Aug 51 thru Dec 52.
I knew the above people and also a bunch whose names now escape me, esp. those reservest who started going home in 1951. these were some of the best times and memories I have had.
Just heard that Don Overend passed on in Aug 99.
