Comments: Iwould really like too hear from someone from my unit,Like I said it's been so long I can not remember any names ,We lived in Quonsett huts ,and I lived in the one right across from the mess hall,you could just about hand me the food it was that close ha ha .It was really a huge Depot,we serviced the Marines ,the Engineers, the Fly Boys ,the Navy,We supervised around 100 South Korean laborers.Does any one remember a village called Little Pittsburgh .Regards Ray Andrews

Comments: It's been 50 yrs sinceI was their ,so I Am not sure if it was called Hialeha coumpond but it sure sounds familiar I've heard it before .Iwas their in Feb 1951-Oct 1952,Across the creek from us was a Philipino company,we use too go over and have a few beers with them .It was a huge Depot we use too dispatch halve a dozen 2 1/2 's too open storage all night long ,someone allways rode shotgun because it was a long lone ly dark road .I guess I will close now.
