Subject: RE: KWP Guest Book Entry
Ken Partridge here, writing for my friend Anne....
Anne's father, Peter Lambrecht, was a Night Fighter in the Korean War
and is technically listed as killed in hostile action. We found his
record on your database. His family had him declared dead in 1959,
although no remains have ever been found. He dissapeared several years
earlier and was last known to be on an air recon. mission. So even
though he's listed as KIA, he was listed as MIA for a while. Anne has
never been able to find out more on his disappearance.
We think your home page project is a great idea, and are glad more
attention is now being given to MIA/POW's. Are there many more
resources for MIA families to search for information on the Internet
now?

I wish I could find the following guy, though, as I am sure I knew his
father in law. We must have flown side by side. However, his entry is
very sketchy and even the squadron noted is incorrect. Do you have any
more data on people who enter stuff in your pages? His name is Mike
Campbell, but his email is no good and there are 40-50 Mike campbells in
the white page search.

To Bob Dahlberg: Hi Bob, E-mailed you some months back Re. being in
542 back in 52/53 @ El Toro. Ran across an article in Flight Journal
Magazine called : Anecdotes of the VMF (N) 513, The Flying Nightmares.
It's by Joe Rychetnik who enjoyed Korea with 513. Interesting article
with some nice color pix of U birds, Tigercats, and Skynights. Don,t
know if you can get this on the news stand or not as I have been a
subscriber for some time and I can,t ever recall seeing an issue on the
news stand. It was in the June 1998 issue. Its an Air Age Pub and the
Web Page given is WWW.airage.com.
Take care and drop me a line somtime. Jon

I was looking for the records of two of my squadron mates,Westbrook and
Harrell who went MIA in July,1953.
Found Westbrooks record. This is the most worthwhile project on that
war that I've found.I also found a lady looking for info on my first
C.O. Peter D. Lambrecht who went MIA in 1952,and I found a kudo to
Byron Hall of VMF (N) 542 who was an instructor of mine at MCAS
Cherry Point,NC.I printed it out and am mailing it to him.

I asked him to look up VMF(n) 513 to my surprise he found Korean War
project, and about Col. Lambrecht and Capt. Brown. I wrote a letter to
Browns sister because I didn't know if I was useing the e - mail right.
I still don't, in fact untill you answered I didn't know if that
