US AirForce Security Service (USAFSS). 1st Radio Squadron Mobile at Johnson AFB and then to 15th RSM at Ashiya, Japan when that unit was activated in Aug. 51 til rotation in July 53. Guess we qualified as Korean war people as we got the ribbons and medals and were not considered part of the Japanese occupation forces since we were not allowed the occupation medal for that period. We had several detatchments in Korea though and I made it over there several times. Regards
