I was with the 6150th Sqdn. of the 6147 Tactical Control Group. My Sqdn.
was known as the Radio Jeep outfit and directed all the air stikes by
carrier and land based aircraft.

Our designation was Tactical Air Control Party ie TACP and consisted
of an officer, usually from a fighter-bomber wing and 2 enlisted men
a radio operator, me, and a mechanic.

Total time in Korea Sept./50 to April/52. I belong to a veterans
group which operates under the name "Mosquitos" but unfortunately
most in the group served after I left Korea and I have only found one
TACP member whom I know.

Re: 934th Signal Bn, 5th Com Group
I don't think that I mentioned that before I went with the 6150th.
I had been with the 934th Signal Batallion of the 5th Comm. Grp.
And it was while with the 934th that I was attached to the Marines
at Inchon. I did not go to the 6150th until Spring? of 1951.

I served with the 1st Marines from Inchon to Wonsan to Hagaru - ri to
the Yalu and returned by Lst 898 from Hungnam to Pusan on Christmas
Eve,1950; the 1st Cavalry Division; British 28th Bgde - with who I was
wounded on 08 October, 1951; Capital ROK Division; 1st ROK Division.
