Following Korea, I served with the 6004th Air Intelligence Service Squadron, APO 925, located in Tokyo Japan which had four (4) Detachments in the field in Korea. The 6004th AISS provided direct intelligence support to the units in Korea through the Director of Intelligence, Far East Air Force (FEAF). I had originally reported to Camp Stoneman with orders for direct shipment to the 6004th AISS in Tokyo, but someone in the shipping orders section thought my job specialty was critical in Korea and sent me there instead.
