My father, who served during the Korean War, is visiting me for the next two weeks. We are trying to secure any information concerning the units he served with but have been unsuccessful in our internet search. He served with the 39th Air Rescue Squadron, 3rd Air Group out of Ashiya AB (Japan) and Clark PI. He also flew B-29s with he thinks is the 314th or 315th out of Kadena AB. The airplane Command Decision, displayed at Wright Patterson Air Museum (5 Mig Kills in one mission) was in the group. Any information, reunion information or contact information would be of great help.
