Dear Mr. Barker,I am looking for the next of kin for the following KIA'S
Lt Robert Richard Foster, USAF; Lt. David Thames Heer.

These gentlemen were part of a B-29 crew that was shot down on
Dec. 30,1952.

My own personal search and that of DPMO has been unsuccesful.
These men belonged to the 28th bomb squadron, 19th bombardment
group medium.

Lt.'s Foster and Heer were crew members with my father. He also
died in the same incident. US archealogical team is scheduled to dig
30 miles from crash site soon. The possibility exists that digging
crews could move to this area.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks again. Bill Differ

I'm looking for information on my father, Norman Winslow Secor.

Due to an accident when I was 6 I went to live with my mother and
don't know alot about my father. He had an accident and had severe brain
damage in 1963.

His dog tag reads AF 19371812 T 51

I have his 28th bomb squad patch and know that he was a "fire/gun
controller?" in a b-29, but that's about all I know.

Any information about his tour in Korea or the people he flew with
would be greatly appreciated.

He lives in San Jose Calif. now in a home for disabled vets.

Thanks for your consideration.

Trying to locate Howard C. Wardell. Stationed in Hokkaido just prior to
the beginning of the war as a weather forecaster. Have lost touch,
would like to get in contact again.

He was my parents best man. He was stationed at Rapid City when he was
discharged somewhere between '52 and 54 (to best of dad's recollection).

the crash of a B-29 on 15 September 1950 on take off from Okinawa.

I'm a columnist writing an article on James P. Cooper, 28 Bomb Sq,
19 Bomb Gr, the radio operator who was killed in the crash.

The article is to run on Memorial day in papers in North Carolina. I've
interviewed the family, but need more info on the crash and I'd like to
talk with anyone who may have known James Cooper.
