Hi it's me again, Lt James J Vincent Jr. I am now stationed in
Northern California with a new e-mail address: fivev@wcinet.net.

Could you please send me another copy of the Remey's history? The only
copy that I gave my father was ruined. He had taken it with him to the
Remey's last reunion, which was held in Denver this past September, and
the members really enjoyed reading it. My father has been asked by
numerous Remey shipmates for a copy. I would really appreciate another
one and I promise that I'll make several.

Lt James Vincent Jr., USCG

Thanks for your help. Here's the info on my father:

Left Navy (active) SEP, 1952
He left as a DC2 & was aboard the USS St. Paul CA73 during his two tours
in Korea. My father stayed in the Navy Reserves & retired as a HTC with
over 35 years of total service.

On Feb 8, 1997, LT. James J. Vincent Jr. USCG, sent you a request for
information about the USS Remey. My best friend's dad also served on
this ship and is looking to find out as much about it as possible.

He is Filmore Gustafson. If there is any information that you think he
might enjoy like service history or what became of the vessel, I know
he would appreciate me sending it along.

Thank you for your time.
