I am trying to locate former shipmates from the
Navy Aircraft Carrier USS Kearsarge CVA-33.
I served aboard her in 1953 as a flight deck hand.

I'm replying to Thomas Hagen, who wrote his was on the Kearsage and
served aboard her in 1953 as a flight deck hand. I too was on the
Kearsge from Nov. 1951 (We recomisioned her at Bremington) until she
returned from Korea in 1993.
I was an AO (Aviation Ordnance--bee bee stacker) 3rd Class .

CVA-47, Second Korean Cruise and the Kearsarge CVA-33.
I am looking to establish contact with anyone who might have known him
during this time or who was on either of these carriers.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

While looking for VF-114, I came across your Korean War Project. I think
they called it a conflict. The addition "Photo Lab' put me in touch
with someone I served with on the 1954-1955 cruise. I was attached
from VF-114 to the Photo Lab. I have been trying to contact other
shipmates, now that I have a computer, Internet access and found my old
cruise book.
I'll check your page periodically, so I can put in my addition.
