I am interested in finding info on naval air operations during the Korean War and in particular I'd like to delve into the accounts of those pilots KIA. Is there any place online that I might find or request such information? My compliments on the wonderful presentation you and your group of volunteers have put together on this topic. He was with 13 other people when thier sea-plane crashed. This is what I found out. A sea-plane usually went on a flight with 14 crew members. On that particular day 2 people called in sick. One however, decided he could fly. The other one didn't go. The signals on the plane indicated water below. (That was the only part of land they could safely come down on.) They were having trouble with their engine. Instead of landing they crashed into the side of Mt. Baton. Those men were only 30 days from coming home. I hope this helps. This is all I know. Thanks for your time and your help. Sincerely, Anna Cimburek
