Am looking for Eugene Francis Wise who, along with his friend
Robert Anderson, were in the California Nat. Guard on 25 June,
1950 and both went on active duty about Labor Day of 1950.
Wise and I were lab techs, MOS 858, at Fitzsimmons General Hospital,
Denver. CO, 1947-1948. Thank you for the site.

My father served in Korea, I am not certain as to the exact unit but I
do know he was a Combat Medic serving with an Infantry company in the
Eighth Army.
As I read this General Order # 703 dated 15 Nov 1953, it states that on
the 22 Jun 1952 "in the vicinity of Irun-dong" my father distinguished
himself by extraordinary heroism. For the actions that took place on
that day my father was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross.
I would like to find out more about that day, the people, etc. And I
would thouroughly enjoy finding out who the soldiers were that my father
saved.
His name is PFC Frank P. Siegert ,Service # US51068756. Any help
would be appreciated.
