On behalf of my father, Herbert E. Elliott, I am looking for any
members of the 69th Field Artillery Battalion, 25th Infantry Division,
that served during 1951-52.
I am particularly looking for a Kenneth Harris that was a good friend of
my father. I understand that he was originally from Florida but really
have no other details. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

My Father, Charles E. King, was in the Fighting 69th Field Artillary
during 1951 thru 1952. My father passed away in Feb of this year. I
have been going through some of his personal belongings and found his
dicharge papers. At the time of his death, he had been trying to
organize a reunion with his fellow comrades. He was so looking forward
to seeing everyone again.
His discharge papers showed him being awarded a Korean Service Medal
W/2 BZ Stars and UN Service Medal. He never mentioned these to any of
us and regretfully we never sat him down and asked him about his service
during the Korean War. I would like to know what type of medals these
are and if there is anybody that knew my father during his military
service.
Thank you,
A Proud Daughter

me to do some research for him. I'm sure he would appreciate hearing
from you.
Thanks!
