Hq Btry, 52nd AAA AW Bn (SP), later redesignated Hq Btry, 26th AAA AW Bn
(SP). Was at Ft Lewis, WA and then in Camp Zama, Japan. From Cp Zama
went to Korea in fall of 1950.

Commanded by a LTC Roy A. Tate. Line batteries had half-tracks, with
old 37mm guns, and then later quad "50's). They were affectionately
called "Bloody Buckets".

Attached or assigned (I forget which), to the 24th US Infantry Division
while in country. I remember reaching the "Iron Triangle" and even
further north, but that was some time ago. I left the unit late in 1951.

My family is looking for anyone who may have known Clifford G. Bull
during the Korean War. He was reported MIA on August 5, 1950 when he
was 21 years old. He was from New Mexico. According to my family's
information, he was an MP in the 1st Calvary Division. My family would
be very grateful for any information at all.
