Hope you'll forgive an ex-British soldier (Yong gook) replying but I was in Korea 1975/76 and I adopted an abandoned baby from the Star of the Sea Orphanage at Inchon. She's now 30 and happily married to an architect in Bermuda. I took her back to Korea in the mid-90s. While the country has changed dramatically, the orphanage was still there and serving much the same needs. We found her old cot and the Korean nun who put her on the plane to me in Hong Kong after I'd finished my tour.
Anyway, good luck to you all over there. Have fond memories about serving with US Forces, both in Korea and then later in Naples.
Tipsida! Do you remember the song Arirang?

Christy, a personal friend of mine, was the platoon leader that liberated an orphanage in Seoul in l950. I do not know the name of it but will inquire and let you know. And as Chris said so very well, goes double for me. Semper Fi!!!! NC C-1-1 "51-'52
