Met Marilyn Monroe at the Osaka Army Hospital, Japan
Have photos, she wore beige like suede form fitting
pants.She was one beautiful woman. Also met Joe Dimaggio,
Lefty O'Doul...will never forget those moments.

I saw her! and in fact got her to pose for a picture.I got one of her singing in that purple dress, also one of her riding in the jeep, Thay took her to what I belive was the officers mess,we were all standing out side waiting for what ever I dont know,anyway she was just going in the door when I yelled turn around Marilyn. she did and I've got a really great picture.I am more than happy to share it with you. I dont't have any pictures and don't know anyone who does but I do remember seeing MM. She was at an outdoor theatre back at 1st Div.HQs probably late summer,1953. I remember she wore a purple dress and sang "diamonds are a girls best friend" from a movie. After the show she rode off thru a crowd of Marines,in the back of a jeep. She then had on dungarees. The officer in charge had a hard time clearing the way. I was close enough to have touched her but probably would have lost an arm if I tried. Bill, USMC 1950-54
