All of my uncles fought in WWII and Korea. I have always been haunted by the little I heard about from there time. Now they are all gone and I wish I knew more.
I have recently started working on a film that tells the story of my last remaining aunt during that time. This has caused me to really want to learn more. I know from what I have heard that it was aweful. I know one of my uncles was a POW for almost a year, but of course he never spoke of it.
I am looking for stories to learn more about this time and the lives of our soldiers and those left at home. Anyone who is willing to share with me, it would be greatly appreciated.
