HIGH SPEED RADAR TRACKS |

A number of high speed radar tracks were reported on
USS Essex, USS Philippine Sea and the USS Missouri.
Soviet recon jobs? Navy supposedly sent cameras to record such tracks. FEAF lists about two dozen such tracks around Korea 1951-1953, but says that all were caused by radar interference.
Anyone know of such incidents?
During WWII Japanese used "windows" and balloons with
radar reflective material to fool radar.
Did NK, PRC, and/or USSR use balloons with possible ECM package like a radiosonde or ECM aircraft to create such returns?
Comments from radar and CIC types?
