Looking for anyone who may have known my father, known as
Jerry (Gerald)O'Connor. He grew up in the Eastern part of
the US. He served on the USS Badoen Strat, (CVE 116). The
Badoen Strait was stationed in San Diego CA in 1950. It
sailed to San Fransancisco July 2-3rd 1950 to participate in
the 4th of July celebration. July 4-5th with a unit of
Marines on board it sailed for Korea - (Back?) into the
Koran war. Only learning that my father was on the Badoen
Strait about 10 yrs ago, I've researched the Badoen Strait's
history for this long. One kind sailor sent me a CD of the
1948 yr. book but I found no name reference. My father was
a young sailor, 17-20 years old. At this point I don't know
if my father is alive or not. I'd appreciate anything from
anyone having known him. Thank you so much.

I am looking for someone who may have served with my father
in the Korean War. His name is Donald Gene Schultz and he
was involved with the CIA. He passed away 10 years ago, but
I want to learn more about my father that he would not tell
me. He did tell me certain details that he has never even
told my mother. Please contact me if you knew my dad.

Thanks, BJ

Looking for anyone who may have served with my father
on the USS Taconic AGC-17. He served in
the military from roughly 1948-1952.
To the best of my knowledge he worked in the print shop
aboard ship and crossed the Artic Circle in 1952.

My Father's name was Spencer Seabrook. He served during WWII in the Navy. I don't know where he served, or his dates of service. He died in 1962. Would like to speak to anyone who served with him.

Go to the Tin Can Sailors website, click on Shipmate Registry, scroll down to F to find USS Frank Knox, and see if anyone from your dad's years is listed.
