I was on the USS Philipine Sea (CVA 47)from 12-15-52 until 8-16-53. Robert Logan Undersinger was a member of my squadron (VF-93) (Carrier Air Group 9) when we embarked for Korea. He had been transferred to the ships company shortly before the accident that took his life on 26 Feb 1953.
