Looking for anyone with information on Robert K. Booker, he was supposedly onboard the USS Princeton in 1950 - 1951 for the Korean War, he was in WWII in the Army Aircorp, joined the Marine reserves after the war. He was called back to active duty for the Korean War and entered with the Navy. Any info or confirmation of these facts would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Bob,
Glad to see someone representing USS PRINCETON! I was a Radio-Telegraph Operator with 3rd Marine Division, FMF on board and serving with O-R Division, standing radio watch in the Comm Center until having to depart her during Operation Firmlink, Feb. 1956 off coast of Thailand. We were transported to the beach by helicopters, which became widely used in Viet Nam in the 60/70's time frame.
My enlistment ended in Nov 1956 and stayed inactive reserve until Oct. 1961. Later joined up in the Naval Reserve as Radioman and served in support of the P3-C ASW Aircraft and finally retired in Dec 1993.

Were you aboard USS PRINCETON during this time Bob? Do you have information where the ship is located if afloat?

Bob, Thanks for keeping USS PRINCETON ALIVE!
